Doornbach Community Visual map workshop

The Project Team led a mapping workshop with the community leaders. Additionally, the Team used two kinds of visual mapping activities for brainstorming. The Team also engaged with community members to aid in a detailed mapping of the area by asking concise questions about a range of different activities associated with solid waste collection and disposal.

Pertinent themes were explored through subsequent exercises were carried out to ascertain key priorities and establish consensus on the community’s point of view. Participation included 5 community leaders with a generally high level of agreement – notwithstanding, not everyone had same level of knowledge about area.
